As a researcher in the Communication Neuroscience lab, I ran experimental studies to predict individuals’ behavior and behavior change from their brain activity.

In two studies, I asked whether synchronous brain activity during storytelling predicts behavioral markers of communication success, like empathy (Sharing Emotions) and judgments of authenticity (Communicating Authenticity). In a third study, I applied those findings to ask whether we can use brain data as a tool to segment audiences based on their entertainment preferences (Understanding Audiences).
